Taking place between February 12th and 14th at FIL (Lisbon International Fair), the Lisbon Food Affair, a professional event dedicated to the agri-food sector in Portugal, brings together a strategic council with the participation of 27 members. Chaired by FIPA – the Portuguese Federation of Agri-food Industries – the Lisbon Food Affair unit includes stakeholders from industry, distribution, the Horeca channel (hotels, restaurants, and catering), and the State Secretariat for Internationalization, which supports the organization and the definition of the initiative's strategic vision and priorities.
“Lisbon Food Affair is the premier exhibition for the agri-food sector, the country's largest industrial sector, both in terms of wealth creation and employment. At a time when the entire sector is seeking new markets, promoting the best that Portugal has to offer in a single space, both in terms of agri-food and equipment, services and technologies for distribution and the Horeca channel, represents added value for producers, while also underlining Portugal's reputation as an exporting country,” says Jorge Henriques, president of the strategic council of Lisbon Food Affair.
