Investment of 20 million euros in the renovation of the Monumental.

The Monumental building, located in the emblematic Duque de Saldanha square in Lisbon, will undergo a complete renovation.

In the second half of the year, the building will undergo renovations to keep pace with the recent redevelopment of the area in which it is located. The structural changes will renovate the entire interior as well as the facade, with the aim of making the Monumental more modern and competitive.

The investment for this operation is around 20 million, and the works are estimated to last approximately 15 months.

Merlin Properties SA, the owner of this space, intends to maintain the building's functions, which will continue to include offices, retail space, and cinemas.

Consumer credit granted by Portuguese banks grew 9,5% year-on-year in September, down from 9,7% in August, according to the Bank of Portugal. The total amount of bank loans to individuals continued to increase, while household deposits decreased by approximately one billion euros compared to the previous month.
