Auchan Retail Portugal has just opened another store, this time under a franchise agreement, in Avelar, in the municipality of Ansião, district of Leiria. Located next to the town center, the new space aims to "offer a practical solution to visitors, as well as a better shopping experience".
The opening of this store continues “the company’s planned investments for the coming years .” Auchan’s strategic objective is to present stores “that stand out for their offerings, convenience, price, and digitalization, this being a modern and distinctive space, fully adapted to the market in which it operates. In this way, the brand can be even closer to consumers and effectively respond to their needs and expectations . ”
800 square meters of sales area
With an area of 800 square meters, this supermarket offers around eight thousand different items (the largest selection in the area, according to the brand), divided among a wide variety of food, perfumery and drugstore items, and basic non-food items, with a focus on pet food, stationery, toys and kitchenware.

Timetable
The new supermarket is open every day from 8:30 am to 20 pm, and also has a cafeteria at the entrance with seating, covered parking, free Wi-Fi, and an ATM inside the store.
