Druni ended 2025 with a consolidated turnover of €1.386,4 million, 24% more than the previous year, benefiting from the expansion of its network and the integration of Arenal Perfumerías. Net profit grew by approximately 10%, exceeding €50 million.
In 2024, the first year in which Arenal began to be incorporated into the group's scope, sales had reached approximately €1.118 million. The full consolidation of the operation in 2025 has now given an additional dimension to the perfumery and cosmetics group controlled in equal parts by the founding family of Druni and the Portuguese company Sonae.
Arenal already accounts for almost a quarter of the profit.
The integration of the Galician chain has had a significant impact on the results. Arenal is estimated to have contributed around €12,2 million to the consolidated net profit, equivalent to approximately 24,5% of the Druni Group's total profit in 2025.
The transaction between the two companies was completed in July 2024. The agreement placed 50% of Druni in the hands of MC, part of the Sonae group, with the remaining 50% associated with the Casp family, founders of the Valencian chain. The transaction combined Sonae's existing stake in Arenal with additional investment in the new group.
When the merger between Druni and Arenal was initially announced in 2023, the two companies had a combined turnover of around €800 million. Two years later, the group's turnover exceeds €1,38 billion, representing growth of over 70% compared to the combined size then presented.
The network surpasses 520 stores.
Growth was also accompanied by a significant expansion of the network. Druni ended 2025 after completing 30 net openings, becoming part of a network with more than 520 establishments. In the previous year, 24 new openings had been completed.
The workforce also increased by 23%, rising from 4.794 to 5.906 workers, mainly due to the reinforcement of store teams.
Within MC's broader health and beauty sector – which includes Druni, Arenal, and Wells – 33 Druni stores, one Arenal store, and eight Wells stores were opened in 2025, bringing the combined network to over 835 units in Portugal and Spain.
Entry into Portugal marks physical internationalization.
The year was also marked by Druni's debut in the Portuguese physical retail market. After launching the online store druni.pt at the end of 2024, the chain opened its first stores in Porto, Almada, Braga and Viseu during 2025, ending the year with four stores in the national market.
Meanwhile, the expansion continued and, according to information published in September, the company already has eight physical stores in Portugal.
Entering the country also represents a significant development for Sonae, which has been strengthening its position in the health and beauty segment through three brands with complementary positioning. In 2025, this MC business area generated €1,8 billion in turnover, with comparable sales growing by 5,6%. Underlying EBITDA reached €230 million, with a margin of 13,1%.
