Toys R Us and Prenatal merge.

Toys R Us and Prenatal are moving forward with their merger. According to Cristiano Flamigni, CEO and general manager of PRG Retail Group Spain, this is an "inevitable" step, following the opening of mixed-use stores.

After Spain, the company plans to complete the merger in Portugal on October 1st, according to infoRetail. "Together, we are building a more robust and cohesive future, to continue offering the best to our families," comments the CEO.

 

Mixed stores

The manager also announced the opening of 20 mixed stores of both brands for the remainder of the year.

During 2023, the group launched a dozen of these stores, while this year 10 openings have already been completed. “ We understood that offering a unique customer experience was fundamental. Therefore, we implemented a single checkout lane and an integrated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, with an exclusive Family Card for Toys R Us and Prenatal and a Family VIP Card for our most loyal customers ,” adds Cristiano Flamigni.
