Mango has appointed Marlies Hersbach, who until now held the position of International Retail Director in France, as the new executive director of e-commerce, in order to continue driving the online sales channel.
Yann Bayon, the current Regional Retail Manager for the Paris region, will take over the position previously held by Marlies Hersbach.
This appointment is part of the company's 2024-2026 Strategic Plan, which aims to reach over four billion euros in revenue by 2026. This path foresees strong growth in sales in physical stores, but also in the online channel.
Entry into 12 new markets
A strategic pillar for the company, Mango is expanding its online channel by entering 12 new countries, mainly located in Africa. Angola, Belize, Brunei, Gabon, Gambia, Equatorial Guinea, Honduras, Laos, Mongolia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and Togo are the new countries where Mango is introducing its e-commerce platform. With this, the company now has an international presence in more than 120 markets worldwide.
Mango consolidated its online business with growth in 2023 that, for the first time, exceeded one billion euros in revenue, representing 33% of the group's total.
