Henkel Ibérica has appointed Kirsten Sánchez Marín as its new Chief Financial Officer. Kirsten Sánchez Marín, who has developed her professional career in several countries in Europe and Latin America, has extensive regional and international experience.
Kirsten, born in Germany, holds a degree in Business Administration and Management and speaks four languages. She began working at Henkel 20 years ago as a Subsidiary Controlling Officer in Germany and was later transferred to Mexico to work as a Business Controller in the Laundry & Home Care business unit. After returning to Germany as an OTC Project Manager, she moved to Guatemala as Finance Director for Central America. In 2012, she assumed the role of Global Head of Diversity & Inclusion, leading Corporate Citizenship activities, in conjunction with the general management of two Henkel non-profit organizations: the Fritz Henkel Foundation and the Dr. Jost Henkel Foundation.
In this new phase, Kirsten Sánchez will report directly to Roberto Gianetti, Regional Head of Finance Europe.
