ADIPA (Association of Food Product Distributors) and ASAE (Food and Economic Security Authority) have officially launched a Technical Inspection Sheet on Distance Selling of Food Products.

The sale of products through digital means has increased in recent times. It is an increasingly present reality among companies, "and especially among ADIPA's member companies ," which led to the need for the signing of the protocol now established.

Knowledge of the legal framework

In this context, ADIPA, understanding the importance of companies knowing the effective legal framework of this activity, promoted, together with ASAE, the preparation of a Technical Inspection Sheet on Distance Selling – Food Products, thus ensuring access to information for all economic operators.

Present at the signing of the protocol were the Secretary of State for Tourism, Commerce and Services, Nuno Fazenda, the Inspector-General of ASAE, Luis Lourenço, and the Deputy Inspector-General of ASAE, Cristina Caldeira, the Secretary-General of ADIPA, Luís Brás, the Vice-President of ADIPA, Carlos Moura, as well as Carla Esteves and Hugo Gomes, members of the board, among other guests and collaborators of the entities involved.
