The search for the best fuel prices in Portugal skyrocketed in one week, from April 9th to 16th, from 270 visits per day to 1.370, reveals Kuanto Kusta.
The primary factor driving this demand was price, followed by concerns about price inflation, whether due to high demand or product scarcity. “ The most economical gas stations sold out quickly, forcing consumers to go to stations they don't frequent regularly and therefore are unfamiliar with their price levels ,” explains Cristina Pereira, marketing director of Kuanto Kusta.
Men were the most concerned about rising prices (70%), while women accounted for 30%, distributed across ages between 25 and 34 years (40%).
