The shopping centers of Valongo, Maia Jardim and Gaia Jardim opened their doors, for another year, to the Portuguese Market, an initiative that brings visitors closer to local businesses and promotes entrepreneurial brands.
The February edition begins on the 9th and 10th of this month in Valongo, and on the 15th, 16th and 17th in Maia Jardim and Gaia Jardim.
In 2018, the Portuguese Market featured around 100 participating brands across its three commercial spaces. Offering gourmet products, designer pieces, urban crafts, and decorative and handmade arts, this event also serves as a leisure space, creating an environment where visitors can socialize and share experiences. The “Mercadinho Workshops” take place in some editions, offering games and special arts and crafts activities where participants have the opportunity to get hands-on. These workshops showcase the best products and items sold at the markets, strengthening the relationship with visitors.
In this way, Sonae RP's shopping centers continue to reinforce a strategy of diversification and investment in events capable of bringing their visitors a wider range of experiences, products and services.
