LG aims to double its revenue in India, Saudi Arabia, and Brazil by 2030.

The combined revenue in the three countries reached 6,2 trillion Korean won in 2025.

LG Electronics is accelerating its growth strategy in key markets. In this regard, the tech company is focusing on India, Saudi Arabia, and Brazil as central pillars of its medium- and long-term expansion.

According to the company, last year the combined revenue in these three markets reached 6,2 trillion South Korean won (approximately 4,3 billion euros). This represents an increase of over 20% compared to 2023, more than double LG's global growth rate during the same period.

Despite global economic uncertainty and slower demand recovery in some regions, these markets continue to demonstrate strong dynamism. The goal of doubling revenue by 2030 was reaffirmed by CEO Lyu Jae-cheol in his first message to employees after his appointment at the end of 2025.

Brazil

Brazil, the world's 11th largest economy, continues to see improvements in consumer purchasing power. To meet growing demand and strengthen cost competitiveness, LG is expanding its local industrial presence. The company is investing over $200 million in the construction of a new manufacturing plant in the state of Paraná, with operations scheduled to begin in 2026. This plant will have a total area of 767 square meters and a construction area of 70 square meters. It will produce premium home appliances and products specifically for the region.

The new facility aims to support the growth in domestic demand and serve as an export base for neighboring South American markets. Together with the existing unit in Manaus, in the state of Amazonas, the annual production capacity of premium home appliances and components in Brazil is expected to reach approximately 7,2 million units.

India

India remains a core market where LG holds a leading position in several key home appliance categories. With a penetration rate still between 20% and 30%, the country presents significant long-term growth potential.

Recently, LG launched the exclusive LG Essential Series range, designed with local living standards, climate conditions, and purchasing power in mind. This range includes washing machines, air conditioners, and refrigerators, positioned for the country's growing young middle class.

Among the features adapted to the local market are washing machines that operate reliably under low pressure and in hard water conditions. Air conditioners are designed to ensure stable cooling performance in extreme temperatures up to 55 degrees Celsius. In addition, there are refrigerators with greater capacity for fresh food, suitable for vegetarian dietary preferences and complemented by designs that reflect local aesthetics.

Saudi Arabia

In Saudi Arabia, LG has maintained a long-standing partnership with Shaker, the leading distributor of home appliances, since entering the country in 1995. Over nearly three decades, the collaboration has expanded to include the joint development of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning technologies optimized for extreme weather conditions.

These localized capabilities are translating into new business opportunities. Last year, LG secured large-scale supply contracts associated with development projects led by the Saudi government. Specifically, cooling solutions for one of the largest net-zero emission AI data centers in the Middle East. This center is integrated into a smart city project. Similarly, the company provided AI housing solutions and smart systems for a large premium residential development.

Saudi Arabia continues to present growing opportunities in the B2B and B2G segments, driven by national development initiatives within the framework of Vision 2030.
