LG gram has just expanded its "family" with the launch of its new 17-inch laptop.
After recently being chosen by the Portuguese as Product of the Year in the laptop category, this LG range expands its offering with a new device that maintains lightness as one of its main distinguishing features, but offers greater performance.
The recently released 17Z990-V.AP77P model, which also received the CES Innovation Awards 2019, combines a large screen with a weight of only 1.340 grams, making it the world's lightest 17-inch laptop. This model features a large IPS screen with a WQXGA resolution (2.560x1.600), ensuring precise and sharp visual images without any color distortion, regardless of the chosen mode. The 16:10 aspect ratio, in turn, allows for more information to be displayed on the screen.
Even with a 17-inch screen, this model has a compact 15,6-inch design that allows it to be carried in a bag or backpack, maintaining the high portability that, according to the results obtained in the Product of the Year awards, positioned this device at the top of the preferences of national consumers who increasingly consider ease of use as a differentiating factor.
At LG gram, convenience is synonymous with lightness, durability, performance, and battery life. In the new laptop, these features are once again present with a 72Wh battery that, on a full charge, guarantees a maximum battery life of 19 hours and 30 minutes.
Equipped with the latest eighth-generation Intel Core processor, which surpasses the seventh generation by 40%, the new model delivers superior results for demanding 4K content and power-hungry gaming graphics. In terms of storage, the LG gram 17-inch offers a standard SSD and an additional slot, allowing for the addition of another drive. The dual SSD allows you to double your storage space and reduce the inconvenience of storing large data on a separate external storage device.
In terms of durability, the new equipment has passed the MIL-STD-810G military durability and reliability test, which verifies seven factors, including impact, dust, and temperature. Regarding security, it includes a fingerprint reader function that allows users to exit sleep/hibernation mode and log in without needing to enter a password.
