Ifthenpay grows 16% and accelerates European expansion.

Payment volume reached approximately 1.8 billion euros in 2025.

Portuguese technology company Ifthenpay ended 2025 with a turnover of €8,13 million. This figure represents a 16% growth compared to the previous year, driven by an increase in the volume of payments processed. The expansion of omnichannel solutions also contributed to this growth.

According to information released by the company, the volume of payments processed reached approximately €1,8 billion, an increase of 16%. EBITDA amounted to €2,8 million, reflecting a 21% increase. This EBITDA growth was supported by operational efficiency gains and greater business scale.

Ifthenpay also recorded a 10% increase in the number of participating entities, totaling 33 clients, and reinforced its team by 20%.

“ EBITDA growth exceeding turnover translates into significant gains in operational efficiency and greater leverage of the business model, in a particularly demanding context marked by market contraction, supply chain disruptions, profound digital transformation of retail, and structural changes in consumer habits, along with an increasingly stringent regulatory framework ,” explains Nuno Breda, co-founder of Ifthenpay.

In-person payments grow by 34%.

In 2025, the company was once again recognized as a recommended brand in the electronic payment solutions category by the Portal da Queixa/Consumers Trust. It achieved a satisfaction rate of 93% and recorded a Net Promoter Score of 70.

Ifthenpay has also moved to new premises in Feira Park. This means it now operates in a space twice the size, designed to accommodate the team's growth. This space also supports expansion plans for the coming years.

In terms of operations, the company highlights a 34% growth in in-person payments. This performance reflects " the strong adoption of the POS solution developed by Ifthenpay, launched at the beginning of last year, and whose international expansion is already planned for 2026. "

Commitment to sustainable growth

By 2026, the company's strategic priority is to consolidate its expansion into Spain and other European markets. In addition, it has already begun operations in other European Union markets.

“ We entered 2026 with renewed ambition, focusing on organic growth, internationalization, and consolidating our position as a strategic partner for companies in the digitalization of payments, maintaining a sustainable growth path strongly oriented towards market needs ,” emphasizes Filipe Moura, co-founder of Ifthenpay.
