BERGÉ GEFCO SL , the newly formed joint venture, has received regulatory approval to join forces in the Spanish market, with the aim of improving its offering and developing new services. After ratifying the agreement between the two groups, the company has been operational since January 2nd, becoming " the new dynamic leader in the finished vehicle market in Spain ".
Based on the experience and resources of its parent companies, BERGÉ GEFCO will significantly increase its transport and storage capacity for customers, which will strengthen its value proposition in the Spanish market, one of the largest in the world, where three million vehicles are produced annually. Customers will benefit from over three million square meters of storage space for up to 120 vehicles, in addition to a fleet of 700 car carriers and 100 railcars. “ This joint venture will reinforce our leadership in the automotive logistics market ,” comments Luc Nadal, CEO of GEFCO. “ The new company is well-positioned to anticipate the future needs of the automotive sector in a highly dynamic context and to develop innovative solutions tailored to the needs of our customers, partners, and employees .”

BERGÉ GEFCO will offer an extensive portfolio of logistics solutions to the current clients of both companies, enabling better management of seasonal peaks and benefiting from dedicated resources.
The new company will cover all logistical needs for new and used vehicles. In fact, in the used vehicle segment, it will be the only supplier capable of managing all logistical and commercial services with its own resources. Its solutions for vehicle manufacturers, leasing companies and dealers include transport, warehousing, technical services, inspections, repairs, delivery, marketing, sales management (online / auctions / exports), administration and fleet management.
