DS Smith will present its range of sustainable products at the 15th edition of Alimentaria & Horexpo 2019, which takes place in Lisbon on March 24th, 25th and 26th.
This is the largest business platform for the food, distribution, and hospitality sectors in Portugal, and it is expected to attract around 25 visitors during the three days of the exhibition. This fair brings together not only food products but also the technological needs of this industry, from packaging to handling, processing, and commercial distribution.
Visitors to the DS Smith stand will be able to see for themselves the added value offered by the products on display, " not only by making brands more attractive and helping them increase sales, but also by reducing costs and minimizing risks throughout their supply chain ."
Additionally, at this edition of the fair, DS Smith will reflect its vision regarding sustainability, one of the pillars on which its activity is based, by integrating honeycomb structures, one of the other fully recyclable products that make up its portfolio.
This is the first time DS Smith has participated in an event of this type since acquiring Europac last January. With this recent acquisition, DS Smith now has six packaging units and one display unit in Portugal.
