DS Smith, a sustainable packaging company, will participate in the 5th edition of Empack & Logistics Porto, which will take place on September 18th and 19th.
Characterized by its wide range of offerings, this trade fair will bring together in one place the main suppliers in the packaging and logistics industry, being the only event of its kind held in Portugal. The organizing company, Easyfairs, anticipates that this edition will feature over 100 suppliers seeking to meet all needs in packaging, technology, logistics and services, and 4.000 professional visitors.
DS Smith's stand (E30) will be located in Pavilion 2 of Exponor, a modern space where visitors can learn about the features and benefits of packaging solutions for the consumer goods, logistics and industrial sectors, or the increasingly important e-commerce sector.
DS Smith's offering at this trade fair will include, among other things, differentiating products with significant advantages for supply chains, such as the versatile Fanfold, which allows for the production of packaging on demand, in any quantity, shape or size, or Honeycomb, a highly resistant cardboard structure ideal for various applications and target markets, including protective packaging to prevent product damage or displays. The latter, whose design is fundamental for differentiation at the point of sale, will also have a strong presence, demonstrating to visitors how a corrugated cardboard display can help convey the brand message and increase sales.
Additionally, corrugated cardboard and honeycomb pallets will also have their own reserved area, as they are characterized as a cleaner, more ecological, cost-effective and lightweight alternative compared to traditional wooden and plastic pallets, thus helping companies maintain their commitment to the environment.
