Dodot Total Care

Dodot launches new Total Care range with plant-based ingredients.

Following the growing demand for natural and organic products, Dodot launches its new Total Care range.

Developed with premium cotton and selected plant-based ingredients, these diapers have been dermatologically tested and contain 0% perfume, lotion or chlorine, while maintaining the brand's signature quality, providing up to 12 hours of absorption and leak protection. “ It is with great pride and enthusiasm that we extend the Dodot product range with the launch of the new Total Care range, to provide parents with another reliable option for their babies. In this case, it is a very special option because it promotes the perfect balance between naturalness, protection and product performance. We remain committed to achieving a better world for babies – a world where they can grow up happy and healthy ,” says Carolina Veiga, marketing director at P&G Portugal.

Consumption of natural products

The consumption of natural products has been steadily increasing in Europe. In the last ten years, the number of mothers buying natural and organic products has quadrupled. Those who opt for disposable diapers are now paying more attention to their naturalness, valuing the protection of the baby's skin.

This is one of the main promises of the Total Care range, which is presented without chemicals or odors and uses more natural materials, certified as good for the skin and recommended by professionals. In addition to being made with superior quality cotton, allowing for greater softness, the absence of perfume and chlorine helps to minimize the risk of allergies.

On the other hand, parents will not be forced to choose between caring for their baby or the world in which they will grow up. In this new range, Dodot reaffirms its commitment to sustainable development, present from the ingredients in its composition and packaging to the manufacturing process.

Material

The material used in the absorbent core of the diapers is made from natural wood fibers. The cellulose pulp comes from FSC-certified forests and other responsibly managed sources.

For their part, both the soft absorbent layer and the packaging of Dodot Total Care are produced with plant-based materials derived from sugar cane.

The manufacturing process uses 100% renewable electricity to reduce its environmental footprint, while industrial waste is sent to landfill, with 75% of production waste being recycled.

Among the brand's technologies, highlights include its absorbent core that locks in moisture to keep baby's skin dry for up to 12 hours, a wetness indicator that turns blue upon contact with urine to alert when it's time to change the diaper, and soft, elastic side tapes that comfortably adapt to the baby's tummy.

Gamma

The Total Care range also includes Aqua Pure wipes. Made with 99% water, a little organic cotton and 1% skin-friendly ingredients, they ensure gentle cleansing and help restore the natural pH and prevent irritation.
