CTT – Correios de Portugal has partnered with Staples and will install lockers in several of the retailer's office supplies and equipment stores.
In this way, customers will be able to enjoy a solution that allows them to collect their orders in a completely independent way, at the time they want, every day of the week.
To mark the beginning of this partnership, the first lockers – with 33 positions – were installed outside the Staples store at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon (FCUL) and at the Almada store.
Expansion
Continuing the growth of its network, CTT is preparing to install two more lockers in the near future, this time in Vila do Conde and Viana do Castelo.
This partnership reinforces CTT's e-commerce strategy and is also aligned with Staples' omnichannel strategy, optimizing points of sale.
CTT already offers more than 195 lockers, both public, click & collect and corporate, located in various points from north to south, namely in intermodal transport platforms, shopping centers, university campuses, physical retail networks, or in the case of corporate lockers, in companies.
