Very Old Croft

Croft Velhíssima, the new Croft brandy.

Founded over four centuries ago, in 1588, Croft is one of the oldest wine companies. World-renowned for its Port wines, it also has a long tradition of producing spirits and brandies, which began with its first shipment to England in 1814.

Made from a selection of high-quality grape brandies, Croft Velhíssima continued its aging process in the old oak barrels and casks of Croft Port wines, in the cellars of Vila Nova de Gaia. Here, the mild temperature throughout the year and the high humidity provide the perfect conditions for the refinement of spirits.

Very Old Croft

Designed for connoisseurs and lovers of rare brandies, Croft Velhíssima presents a mahogany color, a velvety and enveloping palate, and fine and complex aromas, where notes of oak, walnut, and spices stand out.

Croft Velhíssima should be served as a digestif, in a balloon glass and at a temperature between 16ºC and 18ºC.

This brandy is presented in a transparent bottle, which allows for immediate visualization of its mahogany color, and is encased in a wooden frame. 150 units were produced, and they are available in specialty stores with a recommended retail price of 60 euros.
