Carlsberg increases revenue by 18,2%, but reduces the volume of beer sold.

Carlsberg's revenue reached 45.855 billion Danish kroner (approximately 6.144 billion euros) in the first half of 2025, representing an increase of 18,2% compared to the same period of the previous year.

However, the volume of beer sold fell by 1,3%, settling at 52,7 million hectoliters during the first six months of the fiscal year.

By region, in Western Europe the company recorded 25.466 million crowns (3.412 million euros), up 34,9%; while in Asia sales fell 4,1% to 11.208 million crowns (1.502 million euros); and in Central and Eastern Europe it totaled 9.194 million crowns (1.232 million euros), an increase of 11,4%.

“ The group had solid results in a difficult semester, with good market share growth in all three regions, especially in Western Europe, driven by the strong performance of premium beer, non-alcoholic beers and soft drinks ,” explained the company's CEO, Jacob Aarup-Andersen, who does not foresee an improvement in consumption for the remainder of the year.

Thus, for the year as a whole, the company expects organic growth in operating profit of between 3% and 5%, compared to the previous forecast of between 1% and 5%.
