GLS (General Logistics Systems), one of the leading companies in the distribution sector across Europe, has strengthened its presence in Portugal by opening eight new branches since January.
Since the beginning of the year, new agencies have opened in Alverca, Amarante, Amora, Belas, Guarda, Odivelas, Sines and Torres Vedras, which are now part of the GLS Portugal network of 28 agents spread across mainland Portugal and the islands. “ It is with enormous joy that we see our network growing so consistently in this first quarter of 2019 ,” says Victor Gonzalez, general manager of GLS in Portugal. “ Our goal is to be even closer to our customers and, with an ever-expanding network, we can continue to improve our response capacity .”
Following the launch in Portugal of FlexDeliveryService (a service with a wide range of different ways to receive orders, even those placed online in other countries), the opening of these new agencies allows us to continue increasing the value proposition to our customers, supporting their exports and internationalization efforts, but also offering the extensive reach of GLS Portugal's domestic network to international customers.
