Vinicom with distribution by Bojador

The distributor Vinicom expands its portfolio with the integration of Bojador wines from the Alentejo region.

With this partnership, Vinicom will assume exclusive distribution in the national market of this brand's wines from the Vidigueira region and reinforces its offer of national wines and, in particular, from the Alentejo region, with the added feature of including two references of talha wines (one red and one white).

Bojador is a personal project of producer Pedro Ribeiro (Herdade do Rocim) that embodies his long-held dream of transforming his connection to the Alentejo region into wine. It's a project that began in 2010 in Vidigueira, in what he considers " a unique place with a thousand-year tradition of dedication to vineyards and wine ."

At Bojador, a selection is made of old vine blocks that best express the terroir where these wines are born and which, for Pedro Ribeiro, are " mineral, fresh, elegant, emotive and authentic wines ". The grape varieties planted are Touriga Nacional, Aragonez, Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet, Tinta Grossa and Moreto for the reds; the whites are Antão Vaz, Arinto, Alvarinho, Perrum, Roupeiro, Rabo de Ovelha and Manteúdo.

The Bojador wine range currently comprises six varieties: Bojador Tinto (red), Bojador Branco (white), Bojador Rosé, Bojador Reserva Tinto (red reserve), and the duo Bojador Vinho de Talha Tinto (red and white amphora wine). Although the amphora wines have a more prominent role in this project, they represent only 10% of production. The launch of a sparkling wine is also planned for the near future.

Bojador wines are available on the Vinicom website and can be purchased in their online store.
