Showroomprive has acquired a stake in The Bradery, a player with strong growth in premium flash sales, primarily targeting Millennials.
Showroomprive has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake (51%) in The Bradery, with the option to acquire the remaining 49% by 2026, at a price determined based on the company's future performance. This acquisition will be financed entirely from the company's treasury.
Double the sales volume
Since its launch three years ago, The Bradery has already reached almost €30 million in GMV (Gross Merchandise Volume). In the first quarter, it recorded very strong business growth, with an average basket close to €100.
The Bradery founders, Edouard Caraco and Timothée Linyer, and their teams will continue to ensure the platform's growth momentum and manage the company. With the goal of doubling sales volume within three years, The Bradery will continue to develop under its own brand.
200 regular buyers
With a community of over 200 regular customers and more than 400 partners, The Bradery has a very strong positioning among young (average age 27) and premium consumers. The brand also has a strong presence on social media, with around 300 followers on Instagram.
Primarily focused on the fashion segment, The Bradery has expanded its offering to the lifestyle and travel segment and is mainly present in France, having begun an initial expansion into Spain and Belgium.
Additional activities
This strategic acquisition complements Showroomprive's activity, allowing the group to strengthen its position among a younger clientele and accelerate its shift towards "premiumization," with a product and service offering that opens up new commercial synergies. The group thus consolidates its strategy as a leading player in "smart shopping," uniting platforms with complementary positioning: Showroomprivé.com for the generalist segment, Beauté Privée for beauty, and The Bradery for premium and youth fashion.
