Nuno Oliveira takes over as head of the Iberian market for VIA Outlets. In total, this region represents 40% of the group's market share and includes the centers in Lisbon, Porto, Palma de Mallorca and Seville.

Nuno Oliveira, previously Business Director of VIA Outlets Portugal, will now coordinate operations for both national and Spanish assets. The Iberian region includes Freeport Lisboa Fashion Outlet and Vila do Conde Porto Fashion Outlet nationally, and, in Spain, Mallorca Fashion Outlet and Sevilla Fashion Outlet.
The Freeport shopping center was recently awarded by the Portuguese Association of Shopping Centers, a distinction that reaffirms its position as one of the leading shopping centers in the country. “Our vision is to provide our guests with a memorable shopping experience that appeals to the senses. Freeport is an international case study of a project that has managed to position itself as a benchmark shopping center for guests and brands. I had the opportunity, which I am very proud of, to lead a team of extremely talented people who always believed in Freeport's growth potential ,” says Nuno Oliveira. “ We will soon be presenting a new chapter in the already successful history of the Vila do Conde Porto Fashion Outlet center, aiming to enhance the experience for our visitors. The work developed and the excellent results we are seeing in our centers in Portugal have created the opportunity for this new challenge of leading the Iberian market. I see this appointment as an opportunity to develop this region, which represents 40% of the VIA Outlets group's market share, signifying a huge responsibility but also immense potential ,” explains Nuno Oliveira.
The manager has led the business and operational activities of VIA Outlets in Portugal since 2007, having been responsible for the two main assets in the national market until now. A graduate in Management from ISCTE, he held various positions, including head of several areas at Sonae Sierra, marketing director at L'Oréal Portugal, and marketing director at Apple IMC Portugal, before joining VIA Outlets.
