Nestlé has announced the launch of a new Nesquik All Natural chocolate drink, made with natural ingredients, which will reach consumers in recyclable paper packaging.
The launch comes after the Swiss multinational announced globally its ambition to make all its packaging 100% recyclable or reusable by 2025. This is one of the first products to fulfill this commitment.
Nesquik All Natural has only five ingredients, all natural. Of particular note is the use of cane sugar instead of white sugar, and cocoa sourced from sustainable West African plantations as part of the Nestlé Cocoa Plan.
Nestlé is launching this product, which complements the Nesquik range, in five European markets: Germany, Spain, France, Italy, and Portugal. It will soon be available in other European countries as well.
The packaging is made from coated paper that is recyclable within the paper recycling system. The paper is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. (FSC) as sourced sustainably. The packaging has been extensively tested to ensure it keeps the chocolate drink in perfect condition during transport and storage.
The new Nesquik All Natural is produced at Nestlé's factory in Szerencs, Hungary, a factory specializing in the production of powdered beverages.
There are plans to develop more products within this new range.
