Nestlé ended the 2021 fiscal year with a turnover of CHF 87.088 million (EUR 83.156 million), representing a 3,3% increase compared to the previous year. In organic terms, year-on-year growth was 7,5%, with a negative impact from exchange rates of 1,3% and a positive effect from prices of 2%.
Similarly, the Swiss group's net profit increased by 38,2% in the last 12 months, reaching 16.905 million Swiss francs (16.141 million euros).
All regions where Nestlé operates ended the year with increased sales, except for the Americas (-0,7%), whose turnover totaled 33.779 million Swiss francs (32.154 million euros). In Europe, the Middle East and North Africa (EMENA), turnover increased by 4,5% to 21.128 million Swiss francs (20.111 million euros), while in Asia and Oceania it remained stable at 20.735 million Swiss francs (19.737 million euros).
Nestlé Health Science on the rise
By business line, Nespresso's sales in 2021 totaled 6.418 million Swiss francs (6.109 million euros), 9,1% more than the previous year, while Nestlé Health Science's revenue soared 45% to 4.822 million Swiss francs (4.604 million euros).
