Nescafé is the official coffee of The Presidential train, where it will be giving slow coffee demonstrations between September and October.
For this year's edition, more confirmations have arrived for the kitchen of what has already been considered the best public event in the world, such as those of chefs Henrique Sá Pessoa and Alexandre Silva.
The current The Presidential was, in 1890, the Royal Train. Later, it became the Presidential Train and was restored in 2010 to begin service in 2016, with a focus on luxury and gourmet offerings. The train will depart from São Bento station in Porto, offering a gourmet lunch and wine pairings along the way, until arriving at Quinta do Vesúvio, where there will be a Nescafé slow coffee demonstration and a Port wine tasting. The return trip to Porto will include onboard entertainment, coffee tasting, and digestifs.
According to Ana Leitão, Brand Manager at Nescafé, “ this is a perfect combination, bringing together a unique coffee experience with a luxury project. Nescafé will follow the route of the iconic The Presidential and will be hand in hand with one of the projects that most enhances the North of Portugal and tourism. It is a source of pride to be able to make this alliance.”
There are still tickets available for this experience, which can be purchased on The Presidential website.
