Makro Portugal has appointed Filipe Pascoal as director of the Makro store in Faro. With over 10 years of experience in the retail sector, he will be in charge of one of the wholesaler's two stores in the Algarve.
Filipe Pascoal has a solid career in the field and, before joining Makro, held positions such as market manager, deputy director, and store manager at the Auchan Group. He holds a degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Algarve.

The Faro store opened in 2001 and currently has over 60 employees. Makro, in turn, has been present in Portugal since 1989 and has a multi-channel presence, namely 10 stores in the country's main economic and urban centers, two logistics platforms, a range of digital services available to customers, and a food service distribution operation.
