Lusocargo, one of the three largest freight forwarders operating in Portugal, has just reinforced its offering with the start of a new express groupage service for road freight transport, linking Portugal to the entire Paris area, with weekly departures and arrivals.
The company's latest service is operated in partnership with BBL Transport, which has 12 branches in France and was the first company in the BBL Group, to which Lusocargo has belonged since 2021.
Each truck leaves Portugal on Friday and arrives in Paris on Monday, at the BBL Transport service, with the goods being delivered to each customer on Tuesday.
Focused on international road freight transport, with a special emphasis on groupage, freight and customs services, the company has over 25 years of experience and is supported by a workforce of over 200 employees.
From the perspective of Ricardo Arroyo, Director of Road Transport at the BBL Group, “ this new connection to Paris will be an important reinforcement of commercial links between the Portuguese and French markets, demonstrating the strength of the BBL Group in the European landscape, whose specialized teams of more than 2000 employees are committed daily to serving the entire logistics chain of their clients ”.
In addition to France, Lusocargo's road transport service includes daily departures to markets such as Spain, Germany and Poland, reaches more than 20 geographical areas and is prepared to connect the country to the main commercial platforms in Europe.
