The multinational company Linde Material Handling officially launches its latest models of electric counterbalance forklifts in Portugal: the Linde E14–E20 and Xi10–Xi20, now available for sale or rental in the national market.
The national unveiling of this state-of-the-art equipment took place during the European roadshow “The Next Champ”, held last week in Alcochete, and marked a new stage in the modernization of industrial logistics.
Portugal was one of the strategic stops on this European tour, which has been traveling through various logistics capitals with the aim of demonstrating live solutions that are redefining the paradigms of cargo handling, focusing on sustainability, safety, ergonomics and technological innovation.
"The Next Champ"
The event took place at Linde MH Portugal's facilities in Alcochete and offered an immersive experience designed for logistics decision-makers, operators, engineers, and fleet managers. Throughout the day, visitors had access to a hands-on format, with test drives in different operational environments that simulated the real challenges of modern warehouses.
In addition to interacting with the new models, the initiative included technical sessions open to the public, led by brand experts, where topics such as automation, the application of artificial intelligence to logistics management, energy efficiency, and practical success stories with Linde customers were explored.
“ The logistics sector is not invisible. It's everywhere: in the delivery of our food, in online orders, in the hospital supply chain. With this event, we aim to show how clean and intelligent technology is already transforming the national industry and preparing the future of operations in Portugal ,” says Ângelo Correia, Country Manager of Kion Group in Portugal.
Portugal's inclusion in the European roadshow "The Next Champ" underscores the growing importance of the logistics sector in the country and Linde MH's commitment to supporting its technological evolution. This is especially relevant given the increasing demand for electric and sustainable solutions, as companies face goals of decarbonization, digitalization, and automation of logistics processes.
