The new HT100Ds-HT180Ds high-capacity diesel forklifts with torque converter are the second series in the 10 to 18 tonne load capacity segment offered by Linde Material Handling to its customers, as an alternative to the hydrostatic transmission concept.
Thanks to the vehicle's new geometry, the driver always has a clear view of the load and the surrounding area. The exhaust gas aftertreatment system incorporated into the exhaust pipe, the air intake, and the combined cooler are integrated into the chassis and provide the operator with a clear view during reversing maneuvers.
Furthermore, the wide rear windshield, central seating position, and intuitive design of the controls ensure a high level of safety in all maneuvers performed by the driver. During load lifting, the driver has an unobstructed view of the forks and the load through the protection of the armored glass roof.
In these new machines, the tilting cab together with the combined cooler with integrated refrigerant level ensures easy maintenance. While the cab can be tilted forward hydraulically, the combined cooler opens backward. The advantage of this is that the tilting cab does not occupy lateral space, and thus Linde maintenance technicians can access the components in the engine compartment from both sides.
The equipment's compact design is complemented by particularly robust components in the mast, axles, hydraulic system, and transmission. The MTU engine with integrated exhaust gas aftertreatment uses AdBlue, complies with current EU Tier IV and EPA Tier 4 standards, and is quiet, reliable, and fuel-efficient. Regarding maintenance intervals, no maintenance is required before 750 hours of service.
Linde's new high-capacity forklifts are suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications and can perform a wide variety of transport tasks requiring the fast and safe transfer of heavy loads. For customers wishing to configure the machines according to their specific applications, Linde places special emphasis on developing a basic modular concept. The forklifts offer 10, 12, 14, 15, 16 or 18 tonnes of load capacity and are available with power outputs of 129, 150 or optionally 170 kW. Furthermore, almost all models can be positioned with a load center of gravity at 600 or 1.200 millimeters.
Linde also offers a wide range of fork positioners that can be flexibly adjusted to specific transport tasks and load types. A long list of optional features is also available so that customers can optimize forklifts according to their specific applications. First and foremost, these include Linde's SMS (Service Monitoring System), which not only indicates any important maneuvers and usage data to the driver, but also calculates forklift maintenance intervals based on this information. Another advantage is that, in addition to operating hours, the system can also detect whether the forklift is actually in motion or stopped but with the engine running. Thus, the number of oil changes for the transmission, drive axle, and hydraulic system can be determined according to usage and therefore significantly reduced. This translates into clear time and cost savings.
