JYSK continues to strengthen its presence in the Iberian Peninsula with the opening of 12 new stores since the beginning of 2026, consolidating the expansion strategy of the Danish chain specializing in rest, furniture and home decor.

With these openings, the company surpasses 223 stores in Portugal and Spain, reinforcing its commitment to sustained growth based on proximity to consumers and establishing the brand as one of the leading references in the sector in the region.

“ Each new opening represents an opportunity to bring our Scandinavian-inspired concept, functionality, and excellent value for money closer to more homes ,” says Carlos Haba, director of JYSK in Portugal and Spain. He also highlights the strong consumer acceptance of the brand's concept in the Iberian market.

The new stores follow JYSK's 3.0 store model, designed to enhance the shopping experience through larger spaces, intuitive layouts, and a more inspiring product presentation. Each store has an average area of approximately 1.300 square meters and also contributes to the creation of local jobs.

Founded in Denmark, JYSK currently has over 3.600 stores in 50 countries and maintains a strong focus on categories such as furniture, mattresses, textiles, lighting, and decorative accessories, based on functional design and Scandinavian style.

Alongside the growth of its sales network, the company also emphasizes its investment in the well-being and professional development of its employees, supported by distinctions such as Great Place to Work and its presence in rankings of the best companies to work for.
