Ameer Han is the new general manager of Hisense Iberia, to lead the markets of Spain and Portugal.

Ameer Han has been filling the position previously held by Michael Luo, who is now taking on new professional challenges with Hisense International in Latin America.

The new general manager of Hisense Iberia has over 15 years of experience at Hisense International, during which he held various roles in both marketing and sales for the Saudi Arabian and North American markets.

Ameer Han arrives in the Iberian market after assuming responsibility for managing the business at Hisense USA Corporation, where he was in charge of leading market research to identify sales opportunities and improve product pricing strategy in this market. He was also responsible for supervising sales teams, which allowed him to establish a close relationship with leading retailers worldwide.

The improved economic situation is not necessarily translating into increased consumption. In Spain, 33% of consumers adopt a cautious approach to shopping, even when they have the financial capacity to spend more, reveals an analysis by Worldpanel by Numerator. This profile has grown by 12 percentage points in four years and reflects a transformation in consumption habits, with implications for the commercial strategies of brands and retailers.
