Habitat accelerates its return to Europe with an exclusively digital model.

Habitat is accelerating its return to the European market, betting on a fully digital sales model. Two years after being acquired by Vente-unique, the furniture brand aims to be available in 14 European countries.

The expansion strategy does not, for now, include the reopening of physical stores. Growth will be supported by the commercial, technological, and logistical structure of the parent company, a French specialist in the online sale of furniture and home goods.

Habitat already sells its products in markets such as France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Luxembourg, French-speaking Belgium, and Switzerland.

The new expansion phase should take the brand to the Netherlands, Flanders, Italy, and the Italian region of Switzerland, rapidly increasing its European coverage.

Presence aligned with Vente-unique

Habitat's objective is to progressively enter all countries where Vente-unique already has an operational structure. This strategy allows the brand to return to different markets without the costs associated with opening and operating its own network of physical stores, focusing its operation on e-commerce.

Founded in the United Kingdom in 1964, Habitat has gone through a period of contraction and closure of operations in several markets in recent years. The acquisition by Vente-unique paved the way for a relaunch based on a leaner and more digital structure.

With this expansion, the brand seeks to regain relevance in the European furniture and decoration segment, leveraging the logistical and digital reach of its new owner.
