Leroy Merlin opens the doors of its new store in Guimarães, the 16th in the country, continuing the brand's expansion process and marking the first opening of 2019.
The new Leroy Merlin store brings to the birthplace of Portugal a wide and diverse range of products, services and inspiration in DIY, construction, decoration, kitchen, bathroom and garden.
With a total area of over four thousand square meters, of which approximately 400 square meters are dedicated to construction materials, the new store in Guimarães presents a store concept that aims to provide a unique shopping experience, focused on simplifying and comforting the customer throughout the entire process.
In this space, products can be experienced in various environments, such as exhibition areas or recreations of decorative settings, designed to facilitate the selection and purchasing process. A team of 80 employees is available to help and advise on realizing a wide range of home projects.
This store also focuses on the omnichannel shopping experience, reinforced by the use of digital tools in-store and services that offer greater convenience to the customer. The digital kiosks available in the store complement the displayed products and allow customers to access an even wider range of options. Customers will have access to services such as Click & Drive 2h, which allows them to buy online and schedule to pick up their merchandise in-store in just two hours.
