The Lacasa Group has reinforced its commitment to cocoa-producing communities in Ivory Coast through two initiatives of the Lacasa KKO Foundation.
The first action consisted of a donation of 1,8 million CFA francs (West African francs) to the Bocanda General Hospital, intended for the training of the medical team in the neonatology ward. Inaugurated over a year ago, this unit has never been operational due to a lack of specialized professionals. It has the capacity to care for up to four newborns simultaneously. Thus, the contribution will allow the service to be activated and the care provided to the babies to be strengthened.
Meanwhile, the third classroom at the Lacasa KKO School in Kotokounou was inaugurated. The new space expands the capacity of the project launched in 2024 and allows the school to accommodate 150 students. The opening of the new class responds to the growth of the teaching staff and consolidates the institution as a reference for the local community.
