Forum Montijo closed the first half of 2026 with very positive results, registering growth of over 8% in overall sales and a cumulative increase of 10% in the number of visitors. These indicators reflect the growing consumer preference for the shopping center and reinforce its ability to attract brands and consolidate its position as one of the main references on the South Bank.
The maintained 100% occupancy rate continues to reflect the consistent demand from brands and operators and highlights the attractiveness of the shopping center, supported by a continuous strategy of enhancing and evolving its commercial mix.
Throughout the first six months of the year, Forum Montijo welcomed Motocard, which chose the center to open its first store on the South Bank. With over 760 square meters and an innovative store-museum concept, unique in Europe, the brand enriched the offering with a distinctive experience for those passionate about the world of motorcycling. The semester was also marked by the arrival of Arcádia, one of the most emblematic Portuguese chocolate and confectionery brands, and the reopening of Lanidor, in a new location and with a revamped store concept.
By the end of the year, Forum Montijo will continue to strengthen its strategy of differentiating its commercial mix with the opening of Primor, which will occupy a 712 square meter space dedicated to perfumery, cosmetics and beauty, and 4 Patas, specializing in products and services for pets.
“ The results of the first half of the year reflect the confidence that consumers and brands continue to place in Forum Montijo. The growth in sales, the increase in the number of visitors, and the evolution of our commercial offering demonstrate that we are meeting the expectations of those who visit us and the brands that choose the center to grow. We will continue to focus on diversifying our offerings and reinforcing the attractiveness of Forum Montijo, providing an increasingly complete experience for our visitors ,” says Miguel Ramos, Territory Director of Forum Montijo.
Managed by Nhood, Forum Montijo continues to pursue a strategy of continuously enhancing its commercial offerings, promoting the integration of leading brands and providing an increasingly comprehensive visitor experience.
