Ferrero buys Fox biscuits.

Ferrero has acquired Fox's own-brand biscuit and retail business, which until now belonged to the English manufacturer Northern Food Grocery Group Limited (NFGG).

As part of the operation, carried out through its subsidiary CTH, Ferrero will also buy the two production units located in the English cities of Kirkham and Batley.

Enhanced presence

Through this acquisition, the Italian group hopes to increase its presence in the biscuit segment, following the previous acquisitions of Biscuits Delacre and the Kelsen Group. The business now acquired generated sales of approximately €172 million in the last 12 months.

Although 56% of participants in an international Ipsos study believe that artificial intelligence is having a positive impact on the world, trust in the technology is beginning to show signs of erosion, especially among younger consumers and in previously enthusiastic markets. The “Ipsos Global Trends 2026” report shows a decline in the positive perception of AI among 16-34 year olds and identifies growing concern about the effects of the technology on employment, society, and daily life.
