The Vigent Group, owner of Brasmar, inaugurated its new corporate headquarters, located in the former Ráfia factory in Trofa.
The former Trofa Manufacturing Company, a renowned industrial building from the last century, has been rehabilitated and modernized to house all the corporate services teams of the Vigent Group.
During the inauguration ceremony, the CEO of the Vigent Group, Sérgio Silva, highlighted his objective of promoting harmony between the physical space of the group's headquarters and its ambitions, particularly in terms of robustness and proximity. He stated, “ The solid path, based on conscious and continuous investment, on the commitment to modern technology, and on good logistical and commercial structures that we have been following, is far from over. This change is just one more that we wanted to implement, with the certainty that it will generate more conditions for us to be even more ambitious .”
The CEO, who represents the second generation to lead the company founded in 1971 by his father and uncle, also emphasized in his speech the " experience of human resources " and the value of Vigent Group employees, who currently number over a thousand professionals.
Through its new corporate headquarters, the holding company reinforces the connection it has maintained for several decades with the municipality of Trofa, where it stands out as one of the largest employers in the region. The company thus follows the industrial and export-oriented path of this municipality and also reconnects with its history by giving new life to an emblematic building in the city.
The company's objectives remain on track, with plans to continue increasing export volume and achieve a total turnover of approximately 300 million euros by the end of 2019.
