Ervideira, a wine producer from the Alentejo region, received the status of SME Excellence 2018, awarded by IAPMEI – Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation, IP and Turismo de Portugal, in partnership with 10 banks operating in Portugal.
Ervideira has been consecutively recognized as a Leading SME since 2015 for its results. According to Duarte Leal da Costa, CEO of Ervideira, this distinction " is in line with the company's spirit of striving to be more and better, and to differentiate itself within a highly competitive sector, with the goal of offering consumers unique wines ."
The wine producer has had several recent reasons to celebrate, from the selection of Vinha d'Ervideira to be featured in TAP's Business Class, to the distinction of Conde D'Ervideira by Mundus Vini as the best white wine in the world and by Vivino as the best national white wine. More recently, its Vinha d'Ervideira Licoroso was awarded a gold medal in the fortified wine category at Mundus Vini, celebrated the 10th edition of Invisível, and TripAdvisor recognized the company with the Seal of Excellence, among several other accolades.
These accolades “are also reflected in the consistency of sales, and this is thanks to the consumers, to whom Ervideira expresses its gratitude and promises to continue in this line of producing quality wines that surprise the consumer ,” explains Duarte Leal da Costa.
