The feminine hygiene product brand Ausonia has just launched the fourth edition of its solidarity campaign #UMAPORTODAS, which this year donates the equivalent of two minutes of research to the Portuguese League Against Cancer (LPCC) for the development of projects related to breast cancer.
Presenter Bárbara Guimarães is the ambassador for the campaign, in which, for every Ausonia/Ausonia Discreet pack sold between September 27th and November 30th, 24 cents will be donated to the LPCC (Portuguese League Against Cancer) for a research grant, with a minimum value of €13.500 and a maximum value of €16.500. A national reference entity in supporting cancer patients and their families for over 80 years, the LPCC has also contributed to training and research in oncology, in addition to developing structures for primary and secondary prevention.

The 2019 and 2020 editions of the #UMAPORTODAS campaign resulted in the awarding of two research grants for projects at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon.
“ We consider it essential to support all women in the fight against breast cancer, improving their lives, and we know that the success of this mission depends on raising public awareness, early diagnosis, and continuous research. That is why we continue to walk alongside the Portuguese League Against Cancer, aiming for an increasingly significant contribution year after year ,” says Carolina Jesus, Brand Manager of Ausonia.
