ViniPortugal, in partnership with the Deutschschweizer Sommelier-Verband, will be hosting a seminar dedicated to Portuguese wines on September 28th in Zurich. The event will bring together between 15 and 20 sommeliers from German-speaking Switzerland.

This seminar will be led by Wine Educator Sofia Salvador and its main objective is to deepen the knowledge and literacy of Swiss professionals about Portuguese wines, providing them with tools to better understand, present and recommend the diversity of wine production in our country.

Throughout the session, the different regions, native grape varieties, and wine profiles will be discussed, showcasing the diversity and identity of Portuguese wines and reinforcing knowledge about their unique characteristics. The educational component thus plays a central role in this initiative, serving as a way to bring professionals in the sector closer to the Portuguese wine world.

This initiative is part of ViniPortugal's strategy to educate, engage, and bring international professionals closer to Portuguese wines, reinforcing their knowledge of the richness and diversity of the national wine heritage.
