The Electrolux Group has appointed Sergio Rebollo as its new general manager for Portugal and Spain, effective November 3, 2026. In this role, he will be responsible for driving business growth and consolidating the presence of AEG and Electrolux in Portugal and Spain.

His appointment is part of a planned succession process with Álvaro Ortiz, the current general manager of the Electrolux Iberia Group, who will leave the company on December 31, 2026. The two managers will work together during the transition period to ensure a smooth transition and maintain close relationships with customers, distributors, and business partners.

International experience

Sergio Rebollo has international experience in the technology and consumer electronics sectors, having worked for companies such as Dyson, Samsung, and Philips, in addition to his most recent role at Oppo. According to the group, his experience in commercial management, business development, and team leadership will contribute to continuing the company's strategy, identifying new opportunities, and reinforcing commercial excellence.

Portugal and Spain, along with France and Italy, form the Electrolux Group's Southern Europe Commercial Area, a structure that promotes synergies and efficiency between markets. This transition reaffirms the group's commitment to the Iberian market and to sustainable growth, supported by innovation and the continuity of its strategy.
