Aldi bets on pizza delivery.

In the UK, Aldi will begin delivering pizzas as part of its Ultimate Takeaway offer in cities with a high concentration of students, such as Manchester, Cardiff and Edinburgh.

Delivery service will be available through the Aldi website from October 3rd. All pizzas will be delivered freshly cooked. From October 9th, they will also be available in Aldi stores in the UK.

Focus on the price.

Among the pizzas available are three flavors inspired by Domino's, available for £3,99, approximately €4,59.

“As takeaway prices continue to rise, we are pleased to offer our customers delicious pizzas at a price that is just a fraction of what these increasingly expensive chains charge,” says Julie Ashfield, purchasing director at Aldi UK. "The quality of the ingredients and the very affordable price of the Ultimate Takeway product range will undoubtedly revolutionize people's idea of supermarket pizza." he adds.
